Silicone Rubber - Q
Silicone (Q) has good high and low temperature resistance and good electrical properties.
The outstanding property of Silicone rubber is the very wide temperature range. Typically the range is -60C to 200C and above. Silicone rubber does not have very good physical properties, but the properties they do have are retained to high temperatures. Beware corrosion if acetic acid is present as a curing agent.
General uses: O-rings, gaskets, seals, insulation products, electrical products.
